I don’t know about you but when I was pregnant, getting dressed every morning was quite a challenge. The exciting changes and happening to my body can be a “hassle” to keep up.

The good news is the maternity apparel department has undergone tremendous fashion overhaul. There are maternity clothes nowadays are more stylish and you are also spoil for endless choices.

With some smart shopping you can keep looking–and feeling–great through the entire pregnancy and after your little one is born.

Avoid buying very oversized, shapeless pieces, which will only make you look larger than you are, and aren’t flattering apparel for any time in your life, during pregnancy or otherwise.

For great apparel in the maternity style, buy pieces that fit you well but have room to grow as well. Many current maternity apparel items are fitted but have panels that will stretch to accommodate your changing shape.

Remember to always think of comfort when shopping for apparel in the maternity section. When you are experiencing the pains of late stage pregnancy, like swollen feet or heartburn, you will want to wear comfortable clothes that don’t constrict in any way.

Try positioning the pillow at different heights to see how the clothing will look with different shapes.
